North England vs South England

After seeing England lose to Germany I thought I might have a tinker with the squad by seeing who has the better England team - the north or south. For players to qualify for the north they have to be born north of the Watford Gap - and south, south of the Watford Gap. So here we go in a standard 4-4-2 formation:

That's a tough one to call and I'd like to see those two play against each other.
By comparing position for position I get 5 vs 5 with out-field players, with the south better defensively and the north better offensively. |
