Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Review On 19/10/06 by ed There's a review of PES6 at Evo-Web and some of the things that stuck out where:
PES 6 is also the first to bring the international challenge mode to PAL users. This allows you to choose from a few national teams to play in a world cup qualifier type structure before then going on to play in the “International Cup” should you qualify. It's not a bad mode for those one-players who don't just plunge into the Master League.
Speaking of which, you can choose to enable your Master League team to compete in online games and tournaments. If you select this option when starting your Master League you will start with the old school default Master League players regardless of which team you choose but then once you've assmbled the team of your dreams you'll be able to use them online in certain tournaments.
There are only eight stadiums [on XBox 360] compared to the PS2's thirty four.
Other than that there are the usual game modes minus a German league due to licensing issues.
Full online play has also been tweaked with the promise of up to eight players being able to do battle across four consoles. You also have the option of playing in online tournaments and the like.
