PES 2008 vs FIFA 08

PES 2008 has had a lot of stick recently about the glitches and bugs in the game when played online. They've recently patched the game (on XBox live at least - maybe on Playstation as well) and it's much smoother than before. There's still the odd time when the keeper palms a shot back into play and a corner is given but on the whole it's a lot better.
I've played FIFA 08 demo on XBox live and I've got to say it's nowhere near as good as PES 2008. The players seem to small, the play is a bit stodgy, the radar not clear enough and it's not very animated and it all feels a little bit methodic. The shooting is poor as well, where you don't feel as if you can place your shot and it's a bit random. On PES 2008 you have a much better control over players, passing and shooting, and it's just a better more in-depth game. People who advocate FIFA 08 being a better game really need to look more in PES 2008, because there's more depth to the gameplay and a better realistic football experience than FIFA 08.
